Downloadable TI Graphing Calculator Programs by David Ballard

These programs are intended for classroom use, and not for calculations that could result in the loss of profits, property, or physical safety. We will not be held liable in the event that such results occur due to the use of these programs. Thank you. David Ballard

Before trying to run these programs please archive all of your programs ( 2nd + 5 prgm --select one-- enter -- and then repeat this process for each program) , clear out your calculator ( 2nd + 7 1 2 enter clear ), and then un-archive the desired program ( 2nd + 6 prgm --select it-- enter ) This will return the calculator to its default settings so that these programs will run smoothly.

When the programs stop and dots are running up the right top of the view screen, the program is paused. To continue the program just hit enter. On one program you need to hit enter twice. It will say -- done -- when the program is finished. You should download the file to your computer and then from your computer to your calculator. I hope that you enjoy these programs. There may be more programs here in the future. Keep an eye on the web-site.

5 Point Regression

( This program regresses perfect data points into linear, quadratic, exponential, qubic, square root, and cube root equations. )

( The program determines which type it is.)

( For non-perfect data, the program will present a graph and ask you to chose a regression from Stat Calc . )

( The equation requires 5 input points therefore for equations not requiring 5 points like linear equations, you need to input zeroes for the extra points so that there are numbers all the way to L1(5) and L2(5) .)

6 Point Exponential Regression

( This program regresses imperfect exponential tables with 6 input points. )

( Compare the results to Stat Calc ExpReg . Sometimes its is better. Sometimes it is not. )

AC Method for Factoring Quadratics

( This program leads you through the AC Method of factoring a quadratic. )

( It explains, asks, and then answers. )

( When finding the factors of AC the factor range is -3600 to 3600. )

Graphing by Transforming Parent Functions

( This program leads you through the process of transforming parent functions of graphs )

( It explains, asks, and then answers. )
